Original but later made 1" buckles with our reproduction 3/4" buckles to make sets. I had an original Vietnam Era 3/4" buckle copied. Good for repairing Tropical and Light Weight Rucks that have broken buckles,will also work on early M-1967 ammunition pouches,first aid kits etc. A near impossible buckle to find. I spent a very long time trying to find a source for this type buckle but no one makes a 3/4" metal buckle anymore so I had some made. Made from alloy like the original 3/4" Tropical Rucksacks buckles. Light Weight Rucksacks actually use a steel, zinc coated 3/4" buckle if you put a magnet to them but these buckles would be good for repairing those as well. Same 3/4" buckles were used on the cargo straps for Tropical Rucksacks.
