Check the listing for details. Vintage 1970's Electro Voice 671A dynamic cardioid microphone Hi Z w accessories. Listed at 108.00 USD. Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a unique 1970's era Electro Voice 671A model Dynamic Cardioid microphone with a high impedance setting and perfect for general broadcasting purposes as it was intended. This was based on the similar 671 that was set at low impedance. Otherwise both microphones were basically identical in design. This quality mic comes with a period E.V 358 model mic clip, mic box and new exterior pop filter for enhanced performance. This will be a great mic for a HAM radio set up. Pic # 2 the 671 model. While these two mics are similar...the 671 is set at low impedance while the 671A is again, high impedance. I do not have an E.V catalog presently with the 671 and it's specs. This 671 has a very nice sound and quite strong too...100% output. The "cardioid" element has excellent uni-directional capabilities as well. A clear, smooth tone that's a bit more mid range to higher pitched. Hardly any bass so this mic has a bit more of a "rockabilly" tone if you plan on using it for singing purposes. If you want a mic that has a warm tone and bass heavy...this mic won't be good for you. As you can see in the pictures provided this mic is in extremely nice cosmetic condition with zero wear. They just don't come any nicer than this. The satin chrome finish is free of dents, fractures or pitting. The mesh grill looks new with zero deformation, odors or discoloration and the inner foam liner / pop filter is original. I usually replace these but this one was in such nice condition I left it alone. A perfect indication that this mic was stored in an ideal temperature controlled environment. The on / off switch slides smooth and works without issue. The mic has a small locking mechanism to the side of the switch as well if you want to keep the switch in the permanent on position. Mic is solid with no loose or missing parts. The XLR connection was cleaned as well to ensure a perfect signal once the cable is attached. She's good to go. The mic does come with an XLR cable which is a bit newer. It's appx 12 feet long. Soft, pliable and in excellent shape. It has the standard male 1/4 inch end connector as well. The 671A also comes with the aftermarket model mic clip that grips the mic firmly and looks as nice as the mic. The joint mechanism has plenty of tension and is adjustable. It will screw onto any mic stand you have. You have everything you need. Plug in and do your thing. Mic is an easy 9 + cosmetically on a scale of 1 - 10 and sounds absolutely golden. MICROPHONE STAND SHOWN IS NOT PART OF THIS SALE...FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY. As with all my other vintage microphones... I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. If not...I have a no hassle return policy. The return shipping will be on you as I believe that's fair but the purchase price would be refunded. Simply return in the same nice condition...period. Check my rating. International buyers are welcome as well. BUYER MUST PAY WITHIN 24 HOURS or will lose rights to this item, unpaid item report will be filed and will be relisted. If you don't intend on buying this...do not commit to buy please. Domestic buyer will get priority shipping. If you have any questions feel free to ask and...thanks for looking.
