In excellent condition. There is very minor wear on some edges that is indiscernible without a very close examination. Each piece is handcrafted from multiple hardwoods. At least 5 different hardwoods were used, and it could be as many as 6 or 7. Each piece has small felt pads on the bottom corners to protect the desktop. The company, Hardwood Design, has a website and a Facebook page, but it has grown to specialize in large projects, with an emphasis on high end custom cabinetry. Note: there is a company with a very similar name (Hardwood Designs) in Texas. The company that produced this set, Hardwood Design, is located in Forest Grove, Oregon. This is a very rare and unique set. We have searched the Internet extensively, and have not found a comparable desk accessories set anywhere, at any price.
