I acquired a large amount of vintage Altec gear that was pulled from a building (a long time ago) and this is part of that grouping. This unit is dirty and has not been used for years. It looks almost "toasty" but I think that's been from it being in an industrial environment rather than smoke or fire damage. I'm assuming it needs cleaning and service to be working again, and is sold in AS-IS, UNTESTED FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION condition!
