Check the listing for details. VINTAGE APSCO CHICAGO MODEL AUTOMATIC PENCIL SHARPENER SPENGLER-LOOMIS MFG. Condition: Used. Listed at 19.99 USD. Vintage table-top mount manual pencil sharpener made by Automatic Pencil Sharpener Company division of Spengler-Loomis Mfg. in Chicago. This is the "Chicago" model, 4" tall, 2" square mounting base. Chrome plated metal, turned wooden knob handle, celluloid sides on the shavings receptacle. September 1921 is the latest patent date. The Chicago was the company's flagship model. Surface shows wear and some surface rust. The celluloid portion has yellowed a bit and has some wear to the graphics but no cracks or chips. Handle turns easily and smoothly.
