The radio did not turn onwhen I installed a new battery. The radio will require service. The case is faded with a nice patina look and is in very good condition. There is a small crack on the side below the volume wheel-(Shown inphotos. Even if one doesn't repair the radio it is a very nice horizontal radio to display with a transistor collection. The handle folds down and is functional. The grill/dial wheel/Bulova precision logo are allintact and add to this radios charm. The back is secure and there is no water or battery damage inside the radio.
