I have had the priviledge to travel and go to many different estate sales. I picked this item up in Wisconson over 20 years ago. I am selling a few items I have collected. This is a vintage tamahawk where a chair leg was attached as the handle. It is one of the most unique piece I have found. Getting older and it is tim to pass this on to someone else. These type of axes were referred to a trade axe or a belt axe. This is on of the best kept axes I have found.
