For sale is one USED vintage Davis Instruments # 215 hand bearing illuminated compass with original box and instructions. This lights up well, as shown in picture # 8. It does have minor cosmetic flaws and signs of use and / or wear. I found it best to put a small piece of aluminum foil at the bottom of the battery to make the best connection (picture #7). It has the original box, instructions, lanyard for instument, and (damaged) cushioning for the inside of the box (see pictures). It uses two AAA batteries (NOT INCLUDED).
