Calfskin hand braided wrapping covers the nose of this unique rawhide hand braided two rein bosal . There is a curved shape - softer more flexible than traditional bosals . Possibly American territorial prison made - could also be mexican or Peruvian - definitely vintage with hand braided leather Headstall included w celluloid ring in center - the work is excellent w great attention to detail every place possible . Especially note the knots as well as the hand rivets - the one repair where leather was stitched adds character this is a piece of history with a story to tell .. This is one for the collector or could even be used still - the work was that good . - I can’t find another Like it .. but I’ll be open to offers
