Brought up voltage slowly on variac while hooked to 8 ohm speakers, repeated cycle a few times before putting sound through it. It does put out sound through both channels, but has quite a bit of hum. Needs a good cleaning and service, the base of large paper tubed capacitor is broken off, so is loose. Sold as-is, will be pulling tubes and wrapping individually for safe shipping.
