This is a complete, vintage Historic Charleston solid brass antique door knocker. This impressive door knocker measures 5” tall and 4” wide and was made by Virginia Metalcrafters for the Historic Charleston Foundation. It has a beautiful patina and no damage or repairs. It includes the brass retainer for the handle on the backside of the cartouche, brass mounting bolt, solid brass outside knocker pad, inside brass knob and attaching screw. The mounting holes for the two bolts measure 3" center to center or 4.25” center to center, depending on the exact position of the solid brass striker pad.
