These are metal with a brass tone and tinted finish on the front. There is a total of 12. Five of the larger size and seven of the smaller size. The small size each measure 3 1/2 inches top to bottom and are 3 7/8 inches side to side. The slip bracket on the back measures about 2 inches top to bottom. The larger size measure 8 7/8 inches end to end and are 3 3/4 inches high. The bracket on the backs extends about 1 1/8 inches The backs have a metal bracket to secure each piece. Appears to be designed to slide into another piece; please refer to the photos. I am not sure of the exact date of manufacture but based on appearance I would say they are from the 1920s to 1930s. They are all in very good condition. There is some minor wear from age but quite minimal. No breaks or repairs. Very nice. I have included several photos so you can see all the details.
