Check the listing for details. Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Thimble. Condition: Used, Made in Mexico. Listed at 25.00 USD. Vintage Mexican sterling silver thimble has a couple markings one on the outside"1 C" which could signify this was made by the first silversmith whose last name starts with "C" in the city of Cuernavaca sometime after the introduction of this marking system around 1979. The second marking is on the inside a "3" in center of an outline of an eagle now research shows this was done 1960s-early 1970s and means it was made in Taxco. Bottom line there were many variations to what was a relatively loose system of marking. It is definitely vintage very ornate and beautiful shows wear as seen in photos.
