Vintage (1980's) PYREX cranberry casserole dish lid/cover, featuring a solid color design in a round shape. Cranberry glass with an impressed backstamp (15 PYREX 624C), this original mid-century modern lid is a replacement piece for a classic Pyrex casserole dish. Believed to be for an 8" casserole dish, outside diameter measures 8 1/2". Appears in same condition as when I bought it new from factory outlet store with slight imperfection (see photo). The edge of the knob handle (about 1" long) has a rough feel and looks like a piece was chipped off. Yes, this cover was originally bought as a replacement cover for a Pyrex cranberry casserole dish.
