This is a very adorable sewing basket measuring about 6” high and 9.5” across with handle. good vintage condition. originated from unknown but Id guess Japan. wicker is thick and nice but there are three areas that need a little repair - perhaps a little squirt of glue. These areas are 1) the handle on one side needs to be wrapped and glued. 2) on the rim in the back of top and 3) on the top there are 4 pieces of string coming out out of the side that could be tucked back in and glued down.
