ESTATE ITEM: Unusual vintage (1940s) divided mint / candy dish by Ucaqco Ceramics of Japan. Delicate multi-color floral design (red, green blue, yellow) appears to be hand-painted on light green, textured surface. Scalloped edges are punctuated by hand-applied gold paint and yellow dots. Gold paint also highlights edges or compartment dividers. Stored since 1940s. Dish measures 8.2" square and 3/4" deep. Weight is 1 lb. 6 oz. Shipping weight is 4-5 lb. CONDITION: Excellent+ - no chipping or damage. Can be cleaned up even more than shown in pics. Very pleasing and unusual design!
