Fire your flash unit at the flash meter head (from your subject's position), read the number given on the top scale (from no.1 thru no.9) then set your control dial (after setting your film speed) then you will see your lens f/stop displayed on the bottom of the dial. This unit runs on a single 9-volt battery (not included). Unit has been tested and works fine.
