If you have musical recordings that are off pitch, it will also pitch correct them. If you just want to have some fun with your friends and alter your voice, it will do that as well. It can make a soprano sound like a baritone and vice versa. It does have a tiny tape counter that doesn't appear to be working but that really isn't a necessary feature for this device.
