This is a great little piece of vintage Esso Enjay memorabilia - a Sterling brand slide rule (No. 587) that we suspect was given out to current or prospective Esso Enjay employees to promote the company. As noted, the rule itself is in excellent shape and works perfectly. The case has wear, marks, some glue residue, etc. And note we are not sure if the case is original to the rule - the case has no distinguishing markings of any kind, but it does fit the rule quite well.
