Mail Order Design 540 - Crocheted Doilies: This pattern contains directions for two crocheted doilies; an oval and a matching round doily in the pineapple design. Use either fine or heavy cotton. Depending upon materials selected, the oval doily may measure 14 x 25, 16 x 27 or 24 x 38 inches. The round doilies are 12, 14 or 21 inches in diameter. This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 540 in 1957.
