High-end piece by one of America's last great quality furniture manufacturers. Top sections open to reveal smooth glossy black laminate serving surface. The exterior of the top is veneered with beautifully patterned walnut, as are the front and side panels. A single, full-width drawer is over two doors that open to reveal adjustable interior shelves. The drawer's secondary wood is solid oak. Antiqued finish solid brass hardware. Nicely finished on the backside as well, and sits on casters. (which can be removed.) In excellent vintage condition. Structurally without issue. Finish is clean, without any issue beyond what occasional use would create. There is a very fine cracklature pattern to the finish on the top, which is very common to this manufacturer. And like many Karges pieces, it is not marked.
