No cracks ! Just some dents and scratchers. This violin produces mature,deep penetrating tone . All strings are very well ballanced. The violin response easy for the bow with a lot of overtones. This is professional quality violin. This instrument is suitable for violinists of any level from students to soloists from collectors to dealers and I belive you will appreciate the tone of this violin. I offer 30 days to check out the violin. Please watch photos. The transparent oil varnish is golden-brown in colour. (please note:the colour of varnish can be different on your PC screen due the set-up). The tone wood is nice: top made from very fine straight spruce. The back ,ribs and neck made from piece of nicely flamed maple. It has neatly inlaid purfling,beautiful f-holes. The violin has ebony wood pegs. Set of Thomastik Dominant strings. There is no bow and case. I send the violins in very strong box with high protection.
