Check the listing for details. Weinschel AF-144-45-11 Binary Step Attenuator 3, 6, 12, & 24 dB TESTED BAD!. Condition: For parts or not working. Listed at 14.00 USD. exact item shown, Weinsschel 4-step step attenuator, steps are 0, 3.6, 12, 24 dB, so you can go from 0 to 45 dB in 3-dB steps. My analyzer goes to 20 GHz, the display shows test data from 1 to 20 GHz. This is a not-working unit. I listed three working units before this one. The only relay that responds in this unit is the 12 dB relay, it's working but clearly dirty as the analyzler trace shows, the other relays are probably contaminated with goo of some kind. I have had some luck in the past cleaning these things up, but I haven't tried on this one, you can do that -be very gentle and carful if you attempt this, it's easy to lose small parts. I have not broken the seals, so I have no idea what miracles or horrors await inside the unit. To operate, put 24-30 VDC to each of the gnd and + terminals (+ V to + of course). To insert attenuation, ground the upper terminal (dB) momentarily, and the selected attenuation value will latch. To remove the attenuation, momentarily ground the 0dB terminal. This particular unit is serial number A1605, the inspection seals are dated Jan 15 1993. I do not know what the AF (versus AD) at the start of the part number signifies.Note to me: serial number A1605, second black drawerI normally ship within 24 hours of your order, but the post office does not always initiate tracking when I put the packages in the drop off box.
