Wartime barrage balloon wieght bags (I've been told by several people). They can be seen in original footage. These were used to wiegh down barrage balloons when on the floor. Usually used in bunches. These would be a fantastic and functional addition to a home front collection. The bags are large enough to store wooden tent pegs in too!
