Check the listing for details. WW2 Mother Gold Star. Condition: Used, Made in United States. Listed at 6.95 USD. This is an Original World War Two Mother's Gold Star Pin, with the original box. An Act of Congress in 1947 provided a Gold Star to be awarded to mothers who lost a son or daughter or husband during the War in combat. Even today another Act of Congress in 1966 such a Star could be provided for any family member killed in action. The Gold Sat pin that is offered has the "Congress 1947" stamped on the reverse side of the pin. This is a part of history, no veteran or military collector should not have one as it represents what was given to maintain our Freedom. The flag does not come with the Star pin. Will not ship internationally.
