It is embroidered APC and is substantial, with 3 sets of button snaps for adjustments. The Blue/Black Wool Armband is ruggedly and substantially made, and has khaki cotton poplin lining on the inside. The fellow I got it from said it was from his father and the APC stood for Army Provost Corps. Doing some research, I also have found it could represent Assistant Army Provost. It appears to be officer quality and is certainly a highly scarce Army Brassard. It has been used and the Provost Corps Armband is in fair to about fair plus condition. It is at least 78 years old.
