It is a perfect addition to any militaria collection, especially those interested in World War II history. The coat's authenticity can be verified by its details and construction. This is a great opportunity to own a piece of American history. everything appears to be in great condition, especially for its age, I could not find any models or any significant damage. There may be a couple loose strings here or there. I can date the jacket to 1944 because the 10th army which originated in Pearl Harbor in 1944, fought at the battle of Okinawa and was decommissioned in 1945. There are matching US lapel’s on the collars. There are also matching corps of engineers lapels on both breast. The sizing tag has been removed but the length from the top of the shoulder to the bottom is about 32 1/2 inches and from pit to pit it is about 18 to 19 inches. The last button at the bottom has been replaced to a normal button. An absolute beauty of a coat.
