WWI REPRODUCTION EGA( Eagle, Globe and Anchor), variation number 3. This is an excellent REPRODUCTION of a classic Marine Corps insignia. This is the insignia the Marines would have been issued for the campaign hats as well as the overseas hat. Sometimes they were afixed to helmets. Overseas this was the only hat insignia that made them stand out from the Army. This EGA is a perfect replica down to the brass screw back. I have sold many of these at military shows, reenactments and to Marine Corps Veterans. My repro EGAs have been on display in museums and can be seen in the Marine Corps Quantico museum, with no complaints, just excitement . This item is a must for the collector, reenactor, historian or Marine Corp collector. When you buy this item you are recieving a great EGA. (I will only ship within the continental US.
