The Colt M1917 Revolver is too large to fit in this holster but not by much. Without having any identifiable markings it is hard for me to figure out this exact model. The entire depth of the pocket is 8" with a top opening of just under 4" in width. I don't believe this holster has been altered in any way so I will leave it up to you for deciphering. Only a few stitches have come loose at the bottom open end and lots of scratches and stains are clear to see. Brass post is solid and the flap is crack free. Rivets are solid and continue to hold everything together. Please make sure this unidentified holster meets your need before purchasing.
