For 80 years old, typical fading of the material and a small pin hole are present on the top. The chin strap and the leather head band are both complete. Some of the stitching has separated after folding up the inside leather liner to find the size. Perfect for displaying but if you plan on wearing the cap you would want a seamstress to reattach the front dozen or so stitches on the inside sweat band. The Flight Ace logo is under a protective liner and the Army Officer Pin is very nice. Please view pictures for quality and condition.
