Check the listing for details. Yamaha YDG-2030 Programmable Digital Parametric Equalizer. Extremely Rare!. Condition: Used. Listed at 799.00 USD. For sale is a like-new condition Yamaha ydg-2030 fully programmable parametric eq. (1-to-5) The specimen featured here was one of the two available. Hands down, one of my favorite eq to-date. Since aquired, used as a back-up unit only and almost untouched for most of its life-cycle over the years just sitting idly on the rack. Up until recently, it received a full maintenance service including new battery installed. Sounds and works wonderfully. Retailed for over $1000 when new. Product info in a nutshell: 2 Channel digital equalizerMIDI Interface - The MIDI Interface allows EQ programs to be recalled and parameter changes to be made from a MIDI sequencer, computer or similar device. The MIDI interface also features a bulk dump function that allows the contents of the YDG2030 memory to be transferred to any MIDI device capable of recording bulk data."Flat" key sets all gain parameters to "0" in one operationEmphasis On/Off control20-bit digital graphic equalizer with intuitive interface and outstanding performance.Superior Audio Quality - 110-dB dynamic range, precise response from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and total harmonic distortion of less than 0.007% (emphasis on). 20-bit A/D and D/A converters sampling at 44.1 kHz.2-channel 30-band Format With switchable Gain - It features a 2-channel 30-band EQ format with 1/3-octave bands from 25 Hz to 20 kHz. Extra control flexibility is provided by switchable +/-12 dB or +/-6 dB gain ranges.LPF, HPF and Four Notch Filters per Channel - It has programmable high-pass and low-pass filters as well as a group of four notch filters with variable frequency and bandwidth.40-program Memory - Up to 40 complete equalizer setups can be stored in internal RAM memory and recalled as needed.Independently Programmable Channel Delays - Each channel also provides a variable delay parameter that can be used for phase alignment, speaker distance compensation, and other applications. The delay range is from 0 to 714 milliseconds, adjustable in sub-millisecond steps.Feedback-seeking Sweep Function - The YDG2030 includes a sweep function that lets you sweep a preset amount of boost or cut continuously through all bands. Once the problem band has been located, you can easily compensate in the normal way.Professional Analog Inputs and Outputs - Both the YDG2030's inputs and outputs are electronically balanced with XLR-type connectors. Extra I/O versatility is provided by independent -20/+4 dB level selectors for the inputs and outputs.Expanded EQ Network Capability - The network can include up to 31 YDG2030 units to efficiently handle even the largest and most complex sound reinforcement systems. Other extremely hard-to-find equalizer and electronic crossovers up for grabs: 1. A completely refurbished Yamaha Q2031 analog graphic equalizer. This versatile eq is a must in any audio set-up professionally or hi-fi system. (photos 6-to-10, $599) From the manufacturer: The Q2031B offers 31 equalization bands at 1/3 octave intervals from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. It incorporates specially designed active filters that provide minimum phase shift and smooth response at any boost or cut setting.Range switches. Selectable ±6 dB or ±12 dB EQ ranges offer extra control versatility. The ±12 dB range offers wide-range control that can be useful for broad tonal variation or feedback control, while the ±6 dB range provides fine control over a narrower range for acoustic tuning and subtle response shaping.Noise suppression. Graphic equalization can effectively minimize tape hiss, stage rumble, wind noise, microphone popping, excessive sibilance, and other sources of unwanted noise.2-channel configuration. In a compact 2U unit the Q2031B offers completely independent 2-channel control from input to output, with separate 31 band equalization and variable high pass filters for each channel.Outstanding audio performance. A graphic equalizer's main function is to modify frequency response without adding unwanted distortion or noise. The Q2031B features exceptionally quiet operation with less than 0.05% total harmonic distortion. Noise levels are maintained below -96 dB, with a smooth, natural sound that is compatible with digital sources.Variable high-pass filter. High pass filters are useful in minimizing low-end boominess, AC hum, wind noise … generally preventing subsonic components from muddying the sound as well as wasting amplifier power. The Q2031B incorporates continuously variable high pass filters on both channels, providing 12dB/octave roll-off below any frequency from 20 Hz to 200 Hz.Balanced +4 dB 1/4" phone jacks and balanced XLR jacks are provided for both input and output. This provides direct connectivity with a wide range of professional audio equipment.Peak indication and muting. Independent peak indicators for each channel light when the output signal reaches 3 dB below clipping. An automatic muting circuit mutes the equalizer's output for approximately 3 seconds after the power is switched on, to prevent transients from damaging amplifiers and speaker systems.Bypass. EQ ON/OFF switches provide one-touch EQ bypass and instant comparison between the equalized and unequalized sound. LED indicators let you know when the EQ is on.Rugged 19" rack mountable design. The Q2031B is ruggedly constructed to withstand the rigors of use on the road, and can be mounted in any standard 19-inch rack.Acoustic tuning. Graphic equalization is the standard method for fine tuning a sound system to match the acoustics of a studio, concert hall, or any other acoustic environment. It can be utilized to compensate for acoustic irregularities in rooms that were not designed for music listening, and deliver optimum response in properly designed studios or halls.Feedback control. In situations where size and placement restrictions make a feedback-proof setup impossible, a graphic equalizer can be used to reduce the gain at problem frequencies in order to minimize the possibility of feedback.Sound shaping. Graphic equalizers are also creative tools that can shape the sound of an instrument or voice to achieve a better blend in the mix. Added to reverb, EQ can be used to simulate a wide range of acoustic environments. 2.
