Spring green in varying shades form the background for an orange and pink/purple poppy display on the front and back sides. Matte gold accents on rim and handle. Stands 8 inches tall to top of rim. Scalloped rim and base. I could totally see this piece used as a vase with fresh-cut flowers! Clean, wonderful condition. Does have normal wear on gold rim/edge and handle. I believe this piece dates back to the early 1900s, but was not able to verify this 100%.
