This note is a used replacement note for a 500 million Zimbabwean dollar note that was issued and dated in 2008. The 500 million Zimbabwean dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe as part of the Chiremba Rocks series and signed by Dr. Gideon Gono. It is a purple note that measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows the Chiremba Balancing Rocks in Epworth. Its reverse side shows cows being milked and a miner with a jackhammer. Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a Zimbabwe bird in OVI, a low serial number, and an underprint of stylized grains and cows.
