This damaged 50 million dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. It is a green note that is dated 2008, bears the signature of Dr. Gideon Gono, and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features the Chiremba Balancing Rocks and an OVI Zimbabwe bird. Its reverse side shows the ancient ruins of Great Zimbabwe and a Cape buffalo. Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a 7-mm wide iridescent stripe with repeating RBZ. The note was demonetized in 2015.
