The LC meter allows the measurement of capacitance and inductance of passive components, particularly very small values, even way below 1 pF / 1 µH. The resolution thereby is 0.01 pF (10 fF) / 10 nH with a test frequency up to 750 kHz. It is an inestimable aid for amateur radio enthusiasts, as well as anyone engaged in electronics. For instance, PCB capacitive touch sensors can be measured with high resolution and accuracy, or the capacitors and inductors for oscillators and filters can be selected and trimmed. The device is self-calibrating and the Relative Mode eliminates the capacitance/inductance of test leads or -fixtures and parasitics. The kit contains all necessary parts, the programmed and tested microcontroller, the high quality, E-Tested PCB with gold finish and a 2x16 LCD with backlight.
