This is an antique silverplate master butter knife that was manufactured in the Jefferson/Puritan pattern. This pattern was patented in 1912 under the Puritan name and was later featured in sales advertisements under the name Jefferson in 1919. The knife is approximately 7 3/8 inches long and 7/8 inches wide. It has a twisted handle. On the back it says Rogers with two anchors AA 9 oz. Please refer to the photos for the condition. Unfortunately there is some camera reflection in the photos. All vintage silverplate items show signs of wear due to age and use.
