Tested as functional, readings are generally correct, but some ranges off by a little. Unit is clean, free from writing, stickers, but I kept the calibration sticker in place. Condition is better than other Marconi bridges I've seen on eBay. Internally all parts are original, with no signs of modifications or repair (at least that I could notice). I checked the electrolytic and paper capacitors in-circuit, and with that level of test couldn't find anything leaky or out of spec. I allowed the electrolytic capacitors to reform through a dim bulb, and they took the charge immediately. I went through the calibration procedure in the manual (manual PDF can be found online, I can point it out if needed), but one of the settings I was not able to tune within range, indicating some components may have drifted a bit out of tolerance. Rather than fixing or modifying in any way I preferred to keep this entirely original, as it's really more of a historical showpiece rather than a practical way to measure components. Enclosure is a single block of cast aluminum, with a sheet metal front panel and internal frame. Unit weighs 25 lbs.
