We found a stash of original French Army tent ropes as issued for all models of French Shelter Half: 1897, 1935 and 1952. We can't be sure what year these were made but they are identical to ropes issued from 1897 on, and possibly earlier.` All ropes are 75 inches (1.91m). Both ends are whipped to prevent fraying and they smell like they were treated with creosote to prevent rot. All ropes are in new unissued condition. This offer is for one pair (2) ropes
