This is an Exxon/Esso "tiger" beach towel from the 1960's. Towel measures 56" x 36" and is in very good condition for its age. There are no holes or stains but a few pulls in the terry cloth. This is 100% cotton, made by Cannon, and is stamped at the bottom "American, Hand Painted" although it is faded and can’t be read. While still perfectly usable as a beach towel, I think this would be much more appreciated as an addition to a collector's stash.
